Summer has a friendly disposition and gets along well with others. She is described by those who know her best as being very creative with a vivid imagination. Summer likes to paint, draw, and work on craft projects. She uses journaling to help her process her emotions. Like most kids her age, Summer also likes screen time and enjoys watching television and short online videos. In her free time, Summer enjoys spending time in the kitchen learning how to cook. She also likes to sing in the school choir, and she has a beautiful singing voice. Summer does very well in school, and she is currently participating in honors classes in both geometry and history. After graduating high school, Summer would like to go to cosmetology school. However, she doesn’t want to be seen as a “girlie girl.” Summer is great with kids and takes her role as big sister very seriously. She is fiercely loyal to her sister and her family. Therefore, it is important to her that she be able to maintain contact with her sister on a regular basis. Summer is a caregiver and needs to know that the people she loves are taken care of. Having such a big heart and love of family, Summer has developed into a powerful advocate for both herself and her sister. Having developed a lot of social support in Tennessee and the desire to maintain close contact with her sister, Summer will only consider families residing in Tennessee.
